We are getting married in Jamaica in March. I will be wearing an actual wedding dress. Not a big ball gown, but something lacy, flowy and very romantic. I'm puzzled as to what my fiance should wear? I was thinking maybe linen pants and a nice crisp white shirt, rolled up sleeves? Not sure and need any input. Also any suggestions of any stores to shop for such wedding attire. Thanks a bunch!

I've seen a lovely beach wedding where the bride wore palazzo pants with an embroidered tank top, bridemaids wore similar pants with simpler tank tops, and the groom (and all male attendants) wore beige linen pants and crisp blue short-sleeved shirts. Very nice and appropriate.

Edited to say that this should be moved to the host forum, but I don't have the permissions.

I'm getting married in the Bahamas in June and I'm wearing a full formal wedding gown as well. I thought my fiance might go for the preppy navy blazer and chinos outfit, but he insists on wearing a tux, and that all his groomsmen must wear tuxes. He says he will not get married in anything else.

My best friend is getting married in Hawaii in July, and she's going with a slightly more casual dress and her fiance is wearing a white buttondown shirt, untucked, and khakis.

We're going even more casual for our beach wedding on Cape Cod. I'm looking for a pretty white sundress & my boy is going to wear shorts & a hawaiian shirt.

This is quite the departure from our previous plan for him to wear a full kilt & I the fancy dress to go with it - but we really just want to be comfortable & have fun. I'm expecting guests to bring swimsuits & use the beach both pre & post ceremony

Let me suggest a 100% linen guayabera shirt or Mexican wedding shirt for him, is fresh elegant and much practical for the beach wedding.
You can find them on the internet from 60.00 to 150.00 they are beautiful shirts check this site www.mycubanstore.com they even have coordinates with linen pants too.

Good luck!

Good luck to you.
