So the countdown is getting close! Who has what left to do? I have to trim a lot of stray threads off all my heat wraps, and wrap my cats' gifts. Other than that, and drinking some Christmas cheer, I am DONE! IP: Logged |

I almost forgot about my boy's parents. plus, i have to pick up a few more gift certificates (I hate them!!) and wrap and finish a painting and make lots of candy and bake lots of cookies and make some pillows for my boy and try not to go insane. (don't you love my run-on sentence?) I'd fix it but I'm too tired. IP: Logged |

Well, let's see... I've got The's presents and stocking stuffers all done... Parents and gramma too... Friend presents are also gonna be "New year's" gifts... That is assuming I get them done by New Year's!!  I'm feeling better about the holiday, now that it's almost here... I got part of one of my presents from a friend that were unwrapped-- One of those wrapping storage things!!! now to organize the REST of my house.... Oy. IP: Logged |

Last minute help if anyone needs it: I think I posted about this somewhere once before, but if you go to ebay, there is a store called restaurants dot com (you can go to their site but it's more expensive) and bid on cheap gift certificates to restaurants in your area (put your state in the search field once you get there). I got a bunch of $25 off GC's for my brother to restaurants in Philly, most cost me about $4. Also, I WISH WISH WISH someone would get me an Ebay or Amazon gift certificate. i think that would be a fantastic gift. Not a hint, just a suggestion. IP: Logged |

Phew - okay it's Christmas Eve & I've never been so unprepared... I haven't baked a single cookie (but the butter is softening on the counter as we speak...) - all my presents are wrapped except for two. One - I haven't finished my friends tea towels. I'm about halfway there. But considering she & I have a tendency to give our Christmas presents late anyway - I'm sure she won't mind. Two - I was going to give my grandma a coupon for a massage but she ended up in the emergency room yesterday - apparently when she lays down, she can't breathe... so a massage is out. My mom says "You can run to the store & buy a night gown!" and I thought nope - not on Christmas Eve - so she's getting a coupon for one or the other... Other than that - if it ain't done by about 3 this afternoon - it ain't gettin' done. IP: Logged |
