I will confess that I haven't read the article yet, but I HAVE to now. The suspense of this great, easy-to-make chicken is killing me.

I have a couple... one, when you're at work and the print divider sheet is some guy named M. Anderson's but the cutoff is 8 letters so you get manderso and you (ok I) think it's my wife's. Also, when you HAVE to buy the toy tractors because you know Breana and debate whether you can actually give one up because Chi is here and was wearing overalls the other day and wants a tractor. Still undecided on that.

When you're at a garage sale and you see a bunch of Detroit Red Wings stuff (decorations--not things for sale) in the garage and you think, "Drea D and meggo would LOVE that stuff!" I wanted to make the seller an offer for some of it, but then I thought, how would I decide who gets what?

ha, that's great. We should all plan to arrange to invite people over and make it on the same night, like a virtual Digsparty.

I made the Digs roast chicken for dinner tonight, and oh. my. word. That is the juiciest, most tender chicken ever. My husband said it was the best chicken he's ever had. I made it with cilantro and lime in the cavity and cloves of garlic under the skin. I can't believe it has taken me this long to learn how to roast chicken when it's so easy and so dang good!!

Both a chicken to roast and an artichoke were on my list for this evening. Of course, it's now 10 PM because I went out for coffee with my brother, so I think I'll hold off on the chicken until Tuesday and just make myself some frozen partial-cooking stuff tonight.

sorry for the double post, but you know you're a Digster when you post all drunked up, and you know your Digsters will still love you tomorrow. Or, at least I hope

You know your a digster when, in the middle of installing liminate flooring on your tiny apartment condo, you (well, I) feel the need to climb over all the stuff crammed in to the computer room, just to check the boards..
Seriously, I am perched on a rolled up rug balanced on our old trunk. And happy as a clam. Rob was sure I was going to hurt myself.

Aw, that's so cool so many of you all made the roast chicken! (Although I can't take credit for the excellent tips ... thank writer Kristin Wygal!)

I, too, loved my roast chicken experience. It is officially on my list of meals to impress. It is on the same list as Epi's lasagna.

I tried to roast the chicken, but somehow I messed it up. I think you were supposed to roast it w/ the lid off (to crisp the skin). Next time I think it will be fine, just my own incompetence!

J. wanted me to roast it with the lid on too, but I finally convinced him that the digs recipe came from Digs, so it had to be right -- because I trust the recipes on Digs. He consented, and the chicken was heavenly.

I was at a party last night and made my hair rather fun and flippy to match the theme and my weird retro outfit. One of my friends said "Oh, you're so flippy!" and I though "How the heck did she know I am Flippygirl? I've never told her anything about Digs!" ha.

When you send an email to a friend, think of something else you wanted to add, and almost send off another email beginning "ETA..."

When it's 12:31 on a Tuesday (ok, Wed. am) and you realize you're going to be tired tomorrow...and it TRULY is Breana's fault.

*yawn*
