I read about Cushy Cupboards shelf liner on another web forum and ordered it. I was so motivated by it that I have gradually reorganized and relined my entire kitchen. It gave a face lift to my worn shelves and I can't believe I am so excited about a shelf liner.

New products can be very motivational and I don't like the rubber liners, so am going to give this a try, thanks for the tip. Here's the link www.cushycupboards.com There was certainly room for improvement in the liner category.

I e-mailed them a week or so ago & never heard back about where to buy this stuff...not good on their part!

GiaMaria, Did you ever hear back from them?
I ordered from the website given on "where to buy" and love the way it protects from can marks. My husband just painted my pantry, so now it will stay fresh. Also, the items slide...not like the rubber ones.

How does it stick to the shelves? We tried to do contact paper in our old cabinets, and the "wood" is so gross and old it just wouldn't stick. I'm probably going to just thumbtack it on, but if this Cushy Cupboards is as great as everyone says, I may go with that instead.

Anyone have an approximate idea for price?

here's what they said:

DeNault's True Value ships to out of state locations.  You can call them, email them or visit their web page.  http://ww2.truevalue.com/denaults/

The phone number is 949.888.5200 Ext. 107 or email them at jnorris@denaults.com  They accept major credit cards.

Cushy Cupboards
Hardtson LLC

Sidenote: I did see something similar at the hardware store/Home Depot the last time I was there. I can't recall the name. I ended up getting the clear non-stick liner on a roll since I didn't want sticky stuff on my new cabinets. The Cushy stuff was just too much hassle.

I had to go back and search for this thread to add more positive feedback. I find I like my new liner more than I could have imagined, so I ordered more and now have it in my whole kitchen. The interesting thing is you can slide items into place easily, but it has enough grip to keep items where you put them in a drawer that opens or closes. I am thinking that this would be beneficial if we have the "big one" in CA. I know it won't keep everything from breaking but they sure don't slide around!

Note to Sonya, it does not need an adhesive it is thick enough to *just* stay put.!

I checked out the website, looks like an improvement to Contac paper and the plastic ridge liners, did any other digsters try it?
How much is it?

Interesting, I swear everytime I have to unrumple the rubber liners in my drawers and under my glasware, if this stuff works I will be so happy!

I called True Value, Jo answered all my questions and sold me on it. Thanks for the info giamaria.

Wow, got it in only a week. It is an interesting composition, I only had time to line under my cups and glassware and I really do like it. It was very easy to cut and lies flat w/o adhesive. I will line the rest of the kitchen when life slows down.

I stopped into the local hardware store and was told about this wonderful product. I then did a little more research on the product and found it numerous places online to buy it. I ended up going with www.cupboardliner.com but I also found it on eBay. My clients love it and I now insist that it gets installed on of my newly remodeled kitchens.
