Has anyone tried the demeter Always Sexy. 1) I think it looks like it smells great and 2) I wouldn't mind a smell that makes people think I am sexier then I am

Has anyone tried anything Demeter from the pick-me-up ones, other than angel food (I know I can't use that because it has coconut fragrance, which I'm allergic to)? I've wanted to try several of the pick-me-up ones, as well as the Hawaiian ones, but there's no place in IN that sells it that I can find, so I'd have to order it without smelling. But it all just sounds like it smells so yummy! [This message has been edited by shadowfalls (edited 02-17-2005).] IP: Logged |

If anyone has an H2O store in their town, you must go smell the sea salt spa scrub, body wash and body butter. It's about the best damn smelling thing I've smelled in a long time. It's incredibly fresh. It's almost made me swear off perfume because the body butter is enough to scent your whole body. It's so yum! quote: No, but if you do, will you come back here and tell me what you think? I've looked at her site before and it all looks really interesting. I love her descriptions. I've just never gotten around to ordering anything. It doesn't help that I hardly ever wear perfume either... Her's just sound so cool though. IP: Logged |

Yep, I'll report back. I'm thinking of getting a sample set of six, but can't decide which fragrances... IP: Logged |

About Hypnotic Poison- I borrow that from my mum once in a while, and without fail my boy comments on how nice it is. This only happens when I wear that perfume- when I wear any other (including ones I adore and that he has bought me!) he never says anything. I think I am going to wear it on my wedding day, just for that reason. IP: Logged |

That site reminded me of this one, which will send you sample strips of all the fragrances for $2 or something -- I got them ages ago and never got around to ordering because onec I got the samples, I couldn't make up my mind.... IP: Logged |

I love perfume. My favorites are Rive Gauche, Love's Baby Soft, Coco, Lolita Lempika, Ivoire de Balmain, Le Basier du Dragon, Joop!, Opium and my all time favorite is Must de Cartier. Last year I attended a fragrance festival and it was so much fun! Has anyone else done this? IP: Logged |

Fragrance festival? Nope, never been to one. Sounds fun, though. What are they like? IP: Logged |

Oh! Fragrance festivals are fun. The big department store usually put them on and the deals are amazing. You usually go away with a bunch of samples too. If you're a fragrance freak like me it's worth the time and money. I ended up spending $200 last year. And now I'm just realizing that I'm obsessed... IP: Logged |

Has anyone ever made their own perfume? I was thinking about making oils this summer and thought perfume could be just as easy. So... is it easy? What do you as a base? Ethanol (but that smells like, well, alcohol...)? IP: Logged |

quote: There's a perfume outlet? Is it cheaper than regular stores? 'Cuz I need me some Candie's, but it's kind of expensive. Not in the way of perfume, but more than I need to be spending on something that's not an absolute necessity. IP: Logged |

I was at b@th & b0dyworks last night and I found the most delightful perfume- chocolate fondue! My mother in law loves chocolate so I bought a bottle for her birthday and when I got home my hubby said that it smelled so delicious that I had to keep it for myself. Now I have to find a gift for MIL. I'm wearing it now and its really heavenly. IP: Logged |

I just bought the new S3cret Body Shimmer spray...I tried the Vanilla (wonderful) and ended up buying the Peach (mmmm) because I have a vanilla brown sugar body wash already so I though I needed a change...I'm glad I bought it! Pretty cheap too, under $5 CDN. And I still smell yummy, even though it's 7 hours after I first spritzed meself! IP: Logged |
