quick fix : 
Béchamel Sauce
One of those fundamental sauces that every cook should memorize ... To add further depth to the flavor of the sauce, add grated cheese (parmesan is wonderful).


ingredients
1˝ tbsp. butter
1˝ tbsp. flour
1 cup milk, warmed
salt and pepper to taste
time 
10-15 minutes

yields

1. Melt the butter over medium heat in a saucepan. Add the flour and stir with a fork to combine. You'll get a crumbly sort of mixture; cook for a minute or two.
2. Gradually add the warmed milk, beating continuously with a whisk (ideal) or fork. Continue to stir and lower the heat to medium-low.
3. Cook until the sauce has thickened. Remove from heat and season with salt and pepper.
