9. Roll out your pie crust(s) to a diameter that's an inch-and-a-half or so greater than the diameter of your pie container. I like to roll the dough on top of saran wrap, to prevent it from sticking to the countertop.

10.  Pour the cooked filling into your pie container(s). Lay the rolled-out pie crust on top, and gather and press the excess dough along the rim of the pie container, fluting it for decorative purposes if you like. Use the tines of a fork to poke holes in the top of the pie crust.

11.  Bake for 20-25 minutes at 425F, until the crusts are golden brown. Happy eating!
