candle wax:

Scrape off as much of the wax drippings as possible. Place ice cubes over the stain to harden the remaining wax; break off the pieces when frozen. Place a brown paper bag on the stain and iron on low heat. The heat will melt the wax and transfer it to the paper. Repeat the ironing process with clean bags until the stain's gone.
