Regarding the artwork in the bedroom, Eve says: "I know
it's cliché, but something about Gustav Klimt's ornate artwork
worked well with the room … So there are a couple of his
framed prints in there, along with two of my paintings. One is a
painting of the Hindu goddess Saraswati, who is the goddess of
creativity & learning. The other painting is a woman with a
peacock train -- I had been at a loss of what to paint to put on
that wall, and had bought the new Goldfrapp cd. Inside was a
picture of her with the train, but the photo was a bit too
modern/disco looking for the bedroom. So I modified it."
Incorporating a little bit of the old with plenty of her
own new touches, Eve's no slave to defined styles. The result? A
look that's funky and cool, yet totally lived-in at the same
time -- a place that's as chock full o' character as the folks
who live there. >
