kitchen had been built to include an eat-in area, but the space
was a bit too small to comfortably accommodate a regular dining
table set. The solution? Installing a narrower bar-height
breakfast table. Says Nicole: "The smaller table and
barstools fit in the space much more easily than a regular table
did. To make the space homier, we added the bookshelf above to
house my cookbooks, art to the walls, and drapes over the
