- Buy a few bags of
tried and true hangover snacks: Cool Ranch Doritos, Cheetos, and cheese
popcorn.
- Eggs are
obligatory. Assemble two of these Brunch Casseroles the day before and
your guests will be swooning.
Activities
The last thing to consider for your Day-After Party is activities. I’m
betting that everyone is just going to enjoy relaxing and eating. But
you can always rent some flicks. The rules are simple: nothing
emotional, nothing foreign that requires bloodshot eyes to squint at
subtitles, and keep it gender-neutral. Get 3 movies — a lighthearted
comedy, like an old Chris Farley vehicle, a campy science-fiction film,
and a teenage classic, like Weird Science
or
The Goonies. Don’t be surprised if some of your guests get so
comfortable they start nodding off. Just listen to their soft snoring
and change the channel to the Rose Parade. Maybe it isn’t so boring
after all.
