8 Slick Tools for
Mixing drinks in STYLE
 |  13
continued from page 1

4 Citrus juicer
Ready-made juices are convenient, but fresh juices are just so much classier. Buy a simple hand juicer and you’ll be able to offer your guests sublime cocktails made from fresh-squeezed lemon, lime and orange juice.

5 Barspoon
Drinks that aren’t shaken will need to be stirred ( use the bottom section of your shaker as a mixing cup) to
ensure proper mixing. A long-handled barspoon will come in quite handy in these cases.

6
Paring Knife
Since the cocktail is as much about appearances as it is about taste, you’ll need to be able to create garnishes
for your drinks. A good sharp paring knife can be used to make lemon and lime twists, and to cut citrus wheels and squeezes.

7 Bottle opener

For opening beer bottles (of course).
