ask the bartender | Bloody Mary
Traditionally, Bloody Marys were meant as a morning-after drink, a hangover remedy of sorts (go figure).

In a cocktail shaker, combine 2 oz. vodka, 3 oz. tomato juice, 1 tbsp. lemon juice, 2 dashes Worcestershire sauce, 2-3 drops Tabasco, 1/2 tsp. horseradish (optional), 1 dash celery salt, and a few peppermill twists of fresh ground pepper. Shake well, then strain into a chilled old-fashioned. Add salt and adjust seasonings to taste. Garnish with celery stalk.
